Laura Dern, who performed alongside Diane Ladd in various films including Wild at Heart and Rambling Rose, referred to her as “my wonderful hero plus my special gift of a mother”, stating that she was present as she died.
“She was an exceptional grandmother, mother, daughter, actress, artist as well as caring individual that seemed almost dreamlike,” she stated. “We were lucky to have her. She is flying with her angels now.”
Beginnings and Major Success
