I will overwhelm 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.
Former two time unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really proceeding.
