He further clarified that the signal was completely accidental, occurring amid the elation following the team’s final touchdown. “I just put up the incorrect finger,” he noted. “It was inadvertently performed. I’m not kidding. Should you call it unplanned, you can. However, it got corrected pretty quick.”
